Solo disponiendo de esa información, si te pregunto por la profesión de Román, qué te parece más probable, ¿que sea bibliotecario o vendedor?

RESPUESTA AL RETO 1
La respuesta correcta es que es más probable que Román sea vendedor.
En un contexto económico como el español hay muchos más vendedores que bibliotecarios. Pongamos que la proporción es 10 vendedores por cada bibliotecario. Aunque en la profesión de bibliotecario el rasgo de la timidez es más habitual que en la de vendedor (supongamos que la mitad de los bibliotecarios son tímidos, y solo el 10% de los vendedores lo son), habrá cinco vendedores tímidos por cada bibliotecario tímido.
ANSWER TO THE FIRST CHALLENGE
The correct answer is that Roman is more likely to be a salesman.
In general there are more salespersons than librarians. Suppose the ratio is 10 sellers per one librarian. Although in the library profession the feature of shyness is more common than in the sales sector (suppose that half of the librarians are timid, while only 10% of the salespersons are timid), there will be 5 timid sellersper each timid librarian.
