These grants aim to introduce students to ICMAT’s up-to-date research lines by pursuing a short research project at the Institute and participating in the that will take place at ICMAT in summer 2020. Awardees are each assigned an ICMAT researcher as a tutor.
The grants are intended for undergraduate students in the final two years of the degree. Master’s students may exceptionally be considered. These will be awarded for a period of up to two months, one of them on-site, which can be split into two stays. One of these stays must include the JAE School dates (26/6/2023 – 7/7/2023).
- Accommodation, 60 € per day (applies only to students from outside of Madrid region)
- Travel to Madrid (up to two round trips from any Spanish city – applies only to students from outside of Madrid region)
- Lunch, 6 € per day
Topics proposed by ICMAT researchers.
To apply, complete the folowing FORM, where you will have to choose three topics in order of preference from the list proposed by ICMAT researchers (see above), you will also be asked to confirm availability to attend the JAE School and you will need to upload the following two required documents (please send all documents as pdf-files):
- Academic transcript specifying average grade out of 10.
- CV of at most 2 pages.
