These grants aim to introduce students to ICMAT’s up-to-date research lines by pursuing a short research project at the Institute and participating in the JAE School of Mathematics that will take place at ICMAT in summer 2020. Awardees are each assigned an ICMAT researcher as a tutor.
The grants are intended for undergraduate students in the final two years of the degree. Master’s students may exceptionally be considered. These will be awarded for a period of up to two months, which can be split into two stays. One of these stays must include the JAE School dates (29/6/2020 – 10/7/2020).
Grants cover:
- Accommodation at one of the university residences. Including breakfast and dinner (applies only to students from outside of Madrid region.)
- Travel to Madrid (up to two round trips from any Spanish city – applies only to students from outside of Madrid region.)
- Lunch tickets.
Topics proposed by ICMAT researchers.
