ICMAT Laboratory "Viktor Ginzburg"

The Viktor Ginzburg Laboratory is an initiative of Professors Alberto Enciso, David Martín, Daniel Peralta and Francisco Presas, at ICMAT; and Eva Miranda, at UPC. Its main goal is to facilitate and advance research in the areas of Symplectic Geometry and Dynamical Systems via pursuing several research lines within the framework of the lab. These are:

Floer theory and periodic orbits of Hamiltonian systems
Contact and symplectic topology
Poisson geometry, Hamiltonian groups actions and geometric quantization
Viktor Ginzburg will give several advanced courses, and the lab will take active part in trainning graduate students and postdocs and strengthening the CAST node in Spain.
