February 11. International Day of Women and Girls in Science

February 11th is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, proclamed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. Every year, activities are held worldwide to promote the full and equal participation of women and girls in science. The ICMAT, through its Equality Commission, joins this initiative with various activities.
