The symbiosis between Mathematics and Quantum theory (2/3)

Resumen:
Mathematics and quantum theory have lived, since the birth of the physical theory (around 1920s), in a complete symbiotic relationship.
I will begin this course with a basic introduction to von Neumann's axioms for quantum mechanics and realise them in finite dimensional models. The leitmotiv of the second part of the course will be the notion of infinity around quantum theory and illustrate by examples the symbiosis mentioned in the title.
