Following the Flow: Mathematics of Fluid Motion (2/3)

Resumen:
This course offers an elementary and visual introduction to the mathematics of fluid motion. The main goal is to understand two complementary ways of describing a fluid: by looking at the velocity field at each point in space, and by following the trajectories of individual fluid particles. Through simple examples, pictures, and basic calculations, students will learn how different velocity fields generate different types of motion, how incompressibility constrains these flows, and how concepts such as streamlines, stream functions, and vorticity arise naturally.
