Resumen:
In 2019, Kielak showed that virtually RFRS groups are virtually fibered, that is, they admit a finite-index subgroup that maps nontrivially onto Z with finitely generated kernel, if and only if the first l2-Betti number vanishes. A natural question is: for which other families of groups is being virtually fibered equivalent to the vanishing of the first l2-Betti number?
Right-angled Artin groups (RAAGs) are partially commutative groups defined in terms of a simplicial graph. In this talk, we introduce the family of automorphisms of RAAGs and present several positive and negative results related to this question, expressed in terms of combinatorial properties of the defining graph.
