Exploring the Schur Multiplier of SL(2, Z[1/n])

Resumen:
A precise description of the homologies of certain groups provides numerous applications in various other areas of mathematics, such as number theory, hyperbolic geometry, the theory of modular and automorphic forms, algebraic topology, algebraic K-theory, and much more.
We explore some results achieved recently, where, given a nonzero integer n, the second homology with coefficients in Z - the Schur multiplier - of the special linear group of order two over the domain Z[1/n] is calculated, provided n is divisible by one of the following special primes: 2, 3, 5, 7, or 13.
