Resumen:
In this lecture, we present the construction for the Monodromy groupoid of a Lie groupoid. First, we start with the case of foliations, and the we move to the general scenario. If time allows, I will also explain how this groupoid (which may be thought of as a universal cover), may be recovered using the associated Lie algebroid.
