Lecture courses:

  • Mario Garcia-Fernandez (ICMAT, Madrid): An introduction to the Strominger system of partial differential equations
  • Jochen Heinloth (University Duisburg-Essen): Geometry of moduli spaces of Higgs bundles on curves
  • Semyon Klevtsov (University of Cologne): Quantum Hall, Bergman kernel and K√§hler metrics
  • Tomoki Nakanishi (Nagoya University, Japan): Cluster algebras and applications

Each of these courses are planned for 5 hours. In addition to them we will allow short presentations (e.g. posters, talks by the participants). Also regular discussion sessions are foreseen. For the abstracts of the school see here.

There is the possibility for young participants of the school (and the following conference) to stay nearby of the campus in the Residencia Ciudad Escolar (see under Information).

We will have a limited number of fellowships available for young participants. In case that you want to apply for one of the fellowships, do this as soon as possible in the way described here at geoquant (at) For those fellowships we have reserved rooms in the Residencia Erasmo. All other participants coming with their own resources have to make their own reservations.
