About:
Javier Aguilera Villegas is a PhD student at the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT) under the supervision of Daniel Macías Castillo and Dominik Bullach. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in 2024 and his Master's degree at the same institution in 2025.
His research focuses on L-functions, a fundamental class of mathematical objects that encode deep information about arithmetic and algebraic structures. Specifically, he studies their analytic properties and special values, with particular interest in the invariants associated with these values and their role in arithmetic.
