About:
I am a María Zambrano postdoc at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, working in the group of Andrei Jaikin, and affiliated to the ICMAT. I am interested in low dimensional geometry and topology and geometric group theory. My research revolves mainly around the simplicial volume, a topological invariant introduced by Gromov. I am also interested in its many variants and in related invariants, such as the l^2-Betti numbers.
I obtained my PhD at the University of Geneva in 2016. I then spent my first postdoc at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and my second one at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon, before coming to Madrid.
