About:
Short description:
I'm a PhD student at ICMAT/UAM with Diego Córdoba Gazolaz as thesis director. My research adresses the formation of singularities in multiple equations of fluid dynamics.
Biography:
Between 2017 and 2022, I studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of Zaragoza. As a physicist, I became quite interested in fluid dynamics, which lead me to undertake my final undergrad project in this field. More precisely, I developed a computer program to simulate the workings of a solid propellant rocket motor with an end-burning configuration, which, among other things, required me to numerically solve the 1D compressible Euler equations with variable area with some "challenging" boundary conditions.
Afterwards, I continued my education with a Masters Degree on Mathematics at the "Universidad Complutense de Madrid" thanks to the scholarship JAE Intro 2022/2023. It was during this time that I started working with my current thesis director, Diego Córdoba Gazolaz. In my final master project I proved strong ill-posedness in C^k of solutions of a generalized De Gregorio equation.
