About:
Ana Primo is Associate Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a researcher of ICMAT.
She pursued her undergraduate studies at Universidad de Salamanca, and she got her PhD with European mention in UAM (Madrid, 2008, supervisor Ireneo Peral). The main research line of her thesis was the influence of the Hardy potential in Elliptic and Parabolic Problems. In particular, she studied the interaction between a lower order term with critical natural growth and singular terms.
Since then, she has held several postdoctoral positions: an Italian Postdoctoral contract (2 years) in Università Milano Bicocca, a JdlC-grant (with J. Velazquez-M. Fontelos) in CSIC, a Doctor Assistant in UAM and a Ramón y Cajal contract.
Her research covers different areas: Quasi-lineal elliptic and parabolic problems with an interaction between a lower order term with critical natural growth and the Hardy potential; Elliptic and parabolic partial equations with singular potentials, perturbed wave equation; Local and Nonlocal Ellectromagnetic Schrödinger Equation; Nonlinear operators: Bilaplacian and pLaplacian operator; Nonlocal operators (as the fractional Laplacian); Mixed problems…
During all her research career, she has participated in 17 different projects. Nowadays, she is IP of the research project "Ayuda de Excelencia al Profesorado Universitario" and moreover, of the research national project PDI2019-110712GB-I00 (with Fernando Soria) in UAM.
