Postdoc Researcher in “Multi-Agent Control Systems and Machine Learning” at ICMAT 2021

Applications are invited for the position of a Postdoctoral Researcher in “Multi-Agent Control Systems and Machine Learning” at ICMAT, CSIC, Madrid (Spain) under the supervision of Leonardo Colombo. The position is to work in the interface of control theory for mechanical systems, multi-agent control systems, machine learning, and applications for the cooperation of drones in prescribed tasks.

Candidates are expected to have a strong background in mechanical control systems and to be skilled in stability of nonlinear control systems. No prior knowledge of Machine Learning is required. Interest in Bayesian methods, neural networks, formal verification methods, and large-scale models for control systems is convenient but not required. A Ph.D. degree in mathematics, computer sciences or engineering, or similar is required.

The Postdoc position is for 10 months. Gross salary of approx. 29.500 for 1 year. No teaching duties. Applications will take place during the first half of April 2021 to start as soon as possible before the beginning of the summer.
