Langlands duality and parabolic induction for Higgs bundles

Abstract:
This talk surveys how Langlands duality is conjectured to act on moduli of Higgs bundles. I will focus on the relation to a fundamental symmetry, known as parabolic induction, which is believed to decompose the duality into Levi components. This is based on arXiv:2512.24239 .
