Speaker: Antonio Córdoba (ICMAT-UAM)Date: Friday, 05 June 2026 - 11:30Place: Aula Gris 1, ICMAT
Abstract:
We shall discuss variations of the following theorem: A set K in n-dimensional euclidean space (n > 2) containing a translated copy of every meridian, that is, of every (d − 2)-dimensional sphere passing through the poles of a (d − 1)-dimensional sphere (d < n), must have Hausdorff dimension bigger than, or equal to, d − 1
