The conference room is located at the Instituto de Química Física Rocasolano (Serrano 119, Madrid) on the CSIC main campus. The Residencia de Estudiantes is two blocks away from the main venue
The closest metro station is República Argentina (line 6). Both the Intercambiador de transportes de Avenida de América and the Nuevos Ministerios commuter train station are nearby. Both are connected by Metro (line 6) to República Argentina.
Arriving in Madrid by plane: If you plan to travel by plane you will arrive at the Aeropuerto Madrid Barajas-Adolfo Suárez. All the airport terminals (T4 and T1-T2-T3) are well connected to the rest of the city by Metro, train and bus.
Arriving in Madrid by train: If you arrive by train (either to Chamartin or Atocha stations) the best way to come to the main CSIC campus is by taking the local train (renfe cercanías) to Nuevos Ministerios and then the Metro from there to República Argentina (line 6).
Arriving in Madrid by Intercity bus. All the bus stations are connected to the Metro network. Take the Metro to República Argentina to arrive at CSIC.
Arriving in Madrid by car. Madrid is well connected to the rest of Spain by a highway network. If you plan to come by car you may find it difficult/expensive to park the car as parking is restricted and controlled in most of the city.
