Welcome
The School will feature a series of lectures by Autumn Kent and Chris Leininger, focusing on their recent work on constructing purely pseudo-Anosov surface subgroups of Mapping Class Groups. In addition, there will be introductory talks covering related topics and also several research talks by invited speakers.
This school is part of the activities organized by the Bridson-Reid laboratory, funded through ICMAT's Severo Ochoa excellence award.
