The “International Workshop on Mathematical Foundations of Quantum Mechanics and its applications” is an international meeting devoted to the study of the mathematical foundations of Quantum Mechanics and their applications, many of them instrumental in the emergent problems related to Quantum Information Technologies. The objective of this workshop is to present a few relevant problems in the foundations of Quantum Mechanics to a small number of young researcher Post and Pre doctoral and to work in a collaborative enviroment. These problems have been chosen because of their challenging and transversal nature both physical and mathematical.

The subjects that have been highlighted for the present edition of the Workshop are:

• Information Geometry: classical and quantum
• Laplace and Dirac operators on manifolds with boundaries
• Relative entropies and entanglement
• Quantum Thermodynamics: equilibria and fluctuations
• Dynamics from constraints: classical and quantum

The workshop will last for two weeks and the scientific committee asks some of the participants to prepare an extended exposition accessible to young researchers on the selected subjects.
It is characteristic of this meeting to leave ample time for discussions in the afternoons, favouring the exchange of ideas and stimulating the collaboration among the participants
