Biographical Review

Born and raised here in Madrid, I began my 5 year undergraduate studies in Physics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in the winter semester of 2008/09 and finished in the summer semester of 2013.

During my studies I developed an interest in a plethora of different subjects, from the intrincate and beautiful relationship between Geometry and Mechanics, to Collective Phenomena and Complex Systems.

I obtained my Master's Degree in Theoretical Physics in September 2014 at the same university with a dissertation on Dynamical Complex Networks, under the advisory of Profs. David Gómez-Ullate Oteiza (UCM / ICMAT) and Juan A. Almendral Sánchez (URJC / CTB-UPM).

I officially started working on my Ph.D. in Mathematical Research at ICMAT with Prof. David Martín de Diego in April 2015, thanks to a FPI grant from MINECO/CSIC. My research is centered around variational integrators for particles and classical fields and, eventually, on their optimal control.
