Biographical Review

Pedro Tradacete is Researcher (Investigador Distinguido) at the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas - CSIC. His main research areas are functional analysis and operator theory, with a particular interest in the geometry of Banach spaces, Banach lattices, positive operators, interpolation and extrapolation theory. His work also addresses the interaction with other areas such as valuations in convex geometry, graph theory, and analysis in metric spaces.

He has published over 40 articles in prestigious journals, including papers in Advances in Mathematics, Journal of Functional Analysis, Mathematische Annalen, Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, International Mathematics Research Notices...

P. Tradacete got his PhD from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2009, was Juan de la Cierva Postdoc Researcher at the Universidad de Barcelona (2010-2011), and Profesor Ayudante Doctor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2011-2018). He has performed research visits at international institutions such as University of Missouri-Columbia, Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu, Queen’s University Belfast, Adam Mickiewicz University, Universidad de Buenos Aires...

He is currently serving as editor for Mathematical Inequalities & Applications, Bulletin of the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society and Demonstratio Mathematica.
