Biographical Review

I was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1992. In 2010 I started my undergraduate studies on both Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), finishing 5 years later. Right before concluding I got awarded with an scholarship from the Mathematics Department, giving me the opportunity of doing a master in the same university. I also attended a course on amenability given in the JAE-school in ICMAT that same summer, which lead to the first contact with researchers on the area.

After finishing my master thesis, which studied amenability in the context of groups, operators and operator algebras, I obtained a four year grant from MINECO (Ministry of Industry and Economics of Spain) and the Severo Ochoa to do a PhD in the ICMAT. Since April 2017 I am doing my PhD in the ICMAT in the area of amenability (as posed by Connes in 1976) in operator algebras, under the supervision of Fernando Lledó.

My research interest are primarily operator algebras (C*-algebras specifically), group theory and amenability, covering from classification of C*-algebras to hypertraces and Følner sequences. Since the notion of amenability is so widespread, however, I am as well interested in other areas, such as coarse geometry, algebras and K-theory.
