About:

I am a passionate of data science and quantum physics. As a graduated student both in physics and mathematics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, I am interested in applying mathematical techniques to solve real-life problems. In particular, I believe that data science methods have great potential to solve many academic problems. For this reason, I enrolled a Msc in Fundamental Principles of Data Science, at the University of Barcelona. Now that I understand the depths of machine learning and deep learning, I am determined to apply such techniques to the area I love the most: quantum physics. Thanks to laCaixa INpHINIT Retaining Fellowship I am now able to develop a PhD at Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT) and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), under the supervision of Dr. Florentino Borondo. The goal for this PhD is to use promising machine learning techniques, such as Reservoir Computing and Deep Learning, to numerically integrate the Schrödinger equation. The focus will be the study of quantum chaotic systems, since Reservoir Computing has impressive results in predicting chaos.
