Biographical Review

I was born and grew up in Bari, Italy, where I also completed my basic university training in Mathematics. I moved to Madrid in October 2012, to attend a master’s year at the Universidad «Autónoma», and then I entered the ICMAT as a PhD student, in a joint program with the LAGA, Université Paris 13. I travel frequently, spending approximately six months a year in Spain and the other six months in France.

Research Interests

I am interested in mathematical analysis and in differential equations of mathematical physics, especially those which exhibit an oscillatory behavior.

People who influenced me

My thesis directors are Keith Rogers at the ICMAT and Thomas Duyckaerts at the LAGA. They drew my attention to the problems of sharp inequalities in harmonic analysis and their connection with linear and nonlinear differential equations. I was introduced to the mathematics of oscillations by Sandra Lucente, who encouraged me to pursue a PhD in such subjects. And I am deeply indebted to Ana Vargas, who excited my interest in harmonic analysis.
