The ICMAT is organizing three-month and semester thematic research programs, the characteristics of which will be improved with experience, and which are conceived of as a service to the Spanish mathematical community. Up to the present moment there have been six such programs, each cofinanced with i-MATH. They have in common that they all involve visits of varying durations by international scholars considered leading experts in their respective disciplines.
