Summary

As the title suggests , in our research project we aim to approach Singularity Theory in its transversal character.

On the one hand, we intend to deal with problems arising from Singularity Theory. On the other hand, we deal with its applications to open problems related with other fields in Mathematics such as Cryptography, Group Theory, and Geometric Topology.

It is also worth mentioning that the variety of techniques used her also respond to this transversal character, mainly algebraic, geometric and topological. In Singularity Theory it is important not only to understand those invariants that classify the objects, but also to be able to compute them, which is why we are specially interested in producing methods that can give rise to effective computations.

This a coordinate project jointly with the group at he IUMA - University of Zaragoza.
