Mathematical Analysis of Incompressible flows
We have been studying the analytic structure of some equations for the interfacial wave between two incompressible fluids with different densities in various scenarios. For instance, these kind of problems arises as a model of an aquifer or an oil well. We are interested in the well-posedness (local existence and uniqueness of classical solutions) and the qualitative properties (Maximum principles, decay rates...) of such contour equations.
The relations between Probability and Differential Equations
After the works of Mark Kac and Norbert Wiener among others the relations between differential equations and some stochastic processes is well-known This fact is the key in the Feynman's Path Integrals or in some numerical methods.
