The ICMAT is a promoter member of the workshop-contest ‘Graffiti and Maths’
On a support that will vary according to each edition, in ‘Graffiti and Maths’ a group of secondary school students from the Community of Madrid will design a graffito with mathematical motifs. The aim is to approach science by means of an ingenious and groundbreaking support.
The aim of Graffit and Maths is to bring students into closer acquaintance with mathematics using different formats enabling them to become popularizes of science by expressing mathematical concepts through urban art.
This activity is conducted in collaboration with the Royal Botanical Gardens and the CSIC area of Scientific Culture.
