The
workshop will bring together experts in stochastic differential
systems/simulation, regularity structures of (S)PDEs, rough paths,
quantum control and algebraic combinatorics. Combinatorial algebras
underlie these disciplines and the cross-over between them has proved a
strong unifying theme to advance both theoretical research and
practical outcomes. Our goal is to push these boundaries further. A
main focus will be on rough paths, (S)PDEs and quantum control.
The workshop will be structured along those held at the American
Institute of Mathematics and Oberwolfach. Nominated experts give feeder
presentations in their areas on successive mornings, outlining the
frontier of research and open problems. These are followed by
discussion sessions and working groups whom report back to the workshop
as a whole.
This
meeting is a sequel of the SSSC2012 workshop with the same title, which
took place from Nov. 5-9, 2012, at the ICMAT – Institute of
Mathematical Sciences in Madrid, Spain.
